Underneath the Stars is an annual music and arts festival established in 2014 by the production company behind Kate Rusby and Pure Records. As a not-for-profit, Community Interest Company, all of our profit goes back into our music & arts programmes. Our festival has been developed to support and provide a platform for both emerging and established artists, create pioneering schemes for our volunteers, and to deliver new experiences and adventures for all ages.
We endeavour to bring something truly special to our corner of Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Building a festival means bringing people together to build a small community for a few special days of the summer.
Quality underlines everything we do. We hope you join us to party in the sun and the rain, discover your inner self, energise your mind and body, try new things, meet new people, make new friends and most of all HAVE FUN.
UTSf works in partnership with local and broader communities, businesses and social enterprises such as Aspire To work Yorkshire, Grimm & Co, Barnsley Civic, Wild Rumpus, Barnsley Council, The Woodland Trust, Barnsley Youth Choir, Welcome to Yorkshire, Barnsley Museums, Lush, The Woodland Trust, Penistone Folk Ensemble, Dancing Town and many more.
Any support that you can offer means we can invest in our volunteers, invite families to our events who could not otherwise afford to come, host training workshops, and invest in making our site more accessible for those who identify as Deaf or disabled, to name just a few. You can therefore be assured that when you support us, your money or time will be fed straight back into the brilliant volunteer waiting to greet you, the outstanding performers we are currently booking, the family next to you in the audience, and the community we work within.
UTSf offers a great opportunity to promote your brand to families who have stepped outside of their everyday lives, who are exploring, relaxing and adventuring together.
